B.ED. (BACHELOR OF EDUCATION)
B.Ed. referred to as Bachelor of Education is a Bachelor’s Degree undertaken for those who wish to opt for Teaching as their profession.
Course Duration typically is for 2 years with a total of 4 semesters. This degree is necessary for teaching at secondary and higher secondary divisions. B.Ed. Course is designed in a way that it develops skills and our understanding so that we can impart quality education in students.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
(a) Candidate with at least 50% marks either in the bachelor’s degree and/or in the master’s degree in Sciences / Social Science / Humanity / Bachelor of Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent there to, are eligible for admission to the programme.
(b) The reservation and relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules the Central Government / State Government, Whichever is applicable.
